The intention was expressed last week, in Luanda, in an audience that the chairman of the ZEE Board of Directors, António Henrique da Silva, granted to Afrione's CEO, Sahir Berry.
The businessman, representing Nexim Technologies, said that the project will allow "talented young Angolans to be used for internships at the Afrione plant". Cited by Correio da Kianda, the official also said that universities will also "win" with the possibility of integrating young people.
The project aims at the higher education of these young university students in areas such as software programming and smart mobile devices.
Cited by the same newspaper, the PCA of ZEE said that "this is an educational project, which is in line with the objectives of the Government of Angola", adding that the Special Economic Zone sees this project as "an action framed in the mission of social responsibility from the company".
Remember that Afrione is a technological company, headquartered in the United Arab Emirates and has been operating in Angola since the end of 2020. The main segment of activity is the assembly of mobile phones, tables and appliances, which takes place in a factory in the EEZ.
