CASA-CE reaffirms internal cohesion and removes alleged instability

CASA-CE reaffirmed the coalition's internal cohesion, stating that the information that has been circulating in recent days about an “environment of instability in the relationship” between its members and leaders is “false”.

:

In a press release, the Wide Convergence of Salvation of Angola - Electoral Coalition (CASA-CE), led by Manuel Fernandes, underlines that information about the existence within the coalition of an environment of instability in the coalition is false and without any foundation. relationship between its members and directors.

The note emphasizes that the information released by a digital communication platform is also false, according to which the Vice-President of CASA-CE, Alexandre Sebastião André, President of PADDA-AP, is leaving the coalition, that his party he is a co-founder member, due to a disagreement with the new leadership.

"Since the inauguration of its new leader, the CASA-CE coalition has lived a unique moment in its history, characterized by an articulate and healthy cohabitation among its leaders who have as a point of convergence the unity in diversity, internal cohesion and the broad purpose of saving Angola to carry out Angolans ", reads the note.

According to CASA-CE, it was expected that "after speculating, predicting and proclaiming the end of CASA-CE, its detractors, frustrated and disenchanted with the positive performance of the new leadership, delegated to comrade Manuel Fernandes, who lent demonstrably a new dynamic in the coalition, to take liberty, to shamelessly distill all the lies and misinformation against the coalition and its leaders, with the vile aim of removing the focus and the great purpose ".

The third national political force, founded in 2012, with Abel Chivukuvuku at the head until February 2019, urges its militants and cadres to maintain their serenity, to cultivate within the structures and organs of the coalition in which the spirit of mutual help and reciprocal solidarity, as well as to maximize their involvement in CASA-CE.

"There is consensus within the coalition that the new leadership, assumed selflessly, responsible and patriotic by comrade Manuel Fernandes, is positively transforming the organization, into a robust and sharp instrument of struggle, more dynamic, inclusive, active and participative, in favor of the plural cause of Angolans and to the satisfaction of those who have it as a real third way for political alternation to save Angola and carry out Angolans ", concludes the note.

Manuel Fernandes took over the leadership of CASA-CE recently, after his predecessor, André Mendes de Carvalho "Miau", made the position available, at the request of four of the six parties that make up the coalition.

The request to make the position available was made in a letter last February by the Angolan Majority Free Alliance Party (PALMA), the Angolan National Salvation Party (PNSA), the Angolan Pacific Party (PPA) and the Democratic Party for the Progress of Angolan National Alliance (PDP-ANA), with the Support Party for Democracy and Development of Angola - Patriotic Alliance (PADDA-AP) and the Democratic Bloc not having subscribed to the document.

Last week, Manuel Fernandes, quoted by Angop, announced the suspension of the Democratic Bloc from the functions of vice president for electoral issues, due to the last political "movements" carried out by the leader of that party belonging to CASA-CE, without the leadership consent.

At stake is the participation of Justino Pinto de Andrade, leader of the Democratic Bloc, in a meeting with the leader of the National Union for the Total Independence of Angola (UNITA), Adalberto Costa Júnior and the politician Abel Chivukuvuku, who has so far failed all attempts to legalize his political project called the Angolan Renaissance Party - Together for Angola Serving Angola (PRA-JA Servir Angola).
