"The governor of the province of Luanda, Joana Lina Ramos Baptista Cândido, exonerated this Thursday, March 11, 2021," a large part of the officials who belonged to the provincial government, GPL said in a note posted on its Facebook page.
Among those dismissed is Fernando Eduardo Manuel, who held the position of administrator of the municipality of Viana. Appointed by dispatch no. 219/GGPL/2019, of July 21, he is now replaced by Manuel Marques de Almeida Pimentel.
The long list of exonerations also includes the names of Paulo Filipe Rodrigues, who until then held the position of Head of Department of Waste Management of the Provincial Office of Environment, Waste Management and Community Services of GPL.
The governor decided to hand over the portfolio of Waste Management of the Provincial Office of Environment, Waste Management and Community Services of the LPG to Stélvio Erivaldo Baptista Agostinho.
Joana Conceição da Silva Bernardo, administrator of the Nova Vida Urban District and Amadeu Augusto da Fonseca Campos, director of the Provincial Office of Transport, Traffic and Urban Mobility, were also dismissed.
The positions will now be held by Ave Stevelana de Almeida Kapindiça (administrator of the Nova Vida Urban District) and Filipe Serafim Cumandala (director of the GPL Provincial Office of Transport, Traffic and Urban Mobility).
The list of dismissals does not stop there: the governor has dismissed more than 20 LPG officials.
