According to Jornal de Angola, the visit will open next Tuesday, April 6, with the displacement of ministers and secretaries of state, including the ministers of Economy and Planning and Industry and Trade, the Chairman of the Board of Directors (PCA) of the Agency for Private Investment and Export Promotion (AIPEX) and EEZ as well as members of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, among others.
The ambassadors will travel to the EEZ the following week, more specifically, on April 12, 13, 14 and 15, to visit the factories and other units that are installed in the EEZ.
António Henriques da Silva, PCA of AIPEX and ZEE, will be responsible for coordinating the visit and for presenting the Foreign Private Investment in Angola and the added value of investing in that enterprise.
According to the same newspaper, the ambassadors will be divided into four groups, where they will be accompanied by directors of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and managers of ZEE.
It is expected that at the end of the initiative, which is authored by AIPEX and has the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Economy and Planning and the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the ambassadors will convey the message to their countries to improve the business environment and encourage private investment from abroad in the country.
In an order, cited by Jornal de Angola, the government encourages the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to strengthen relations with other countries in order to attract more private investment in agriculture, fisheries, industry, transport, construction, tourism, among others.
