Manel Kape is the first Portuguese-Angolan fighter to sign a contract with the UFC

Luso-Angolan fighter Manel Kape signed a contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), considered one of the best MMA organizations in the world. The athlete, who competes in the sport of rooster weight of the rizin, thus becomes the first Luso-Angolan fighter to be part of this organization.


In the social networks, the 26-year-old athlete said he was "extremely grateful to all the people who made and are part" of his sports career. "Alone I wouldn't be where I am, nor have I achieved what I already have," he wrote.

Considering that the road to get here was hard, Manel Kape said it was the persistence and dedication that allowed him to reach the "goals" that he wanted.

"Thank you very much to everyone", he thanked, making it clear that his ambition did not stop there: "my work, my focus and my determination will be redoubled because I have the objective, this year or next year, to become world champion again".
