Located in the Tchipa Tchiwa neighborhood, in the municipality of Caála, the school will benefit, in this first phase, around 140 students, providing them with "a modern and suitable environment for their academic development", says the company, in a statement sent to VerAngola.

The inauguration ceremony was presided over by the Ministry of Education, which takes over the institution after the construction and delivery of the infrastructure.

Several individuals from the province were present on the occasion, namely the Municipal Administrator of Huambo, Francisco Jamba, the Deputy Administrator for Social, Economic and Community Affairs, Marta Mendes Teixeira, the Municipal Director of Education of Huambo, Tiago Canana Sapalo, the King of Huambo, Artur Moço and other individuals from the region.

The Tchipa Tchiwa School represents the first phase of a comprehensive educational project, consisting of four classrooms with capacity for 35 students each, an office for the principal, a teachers' room, changing rooms and bathrooms for teachers and students, sanitary facilities adapted for people with reduced mobility, storage, sports court, 140 desks and complete furniture for the offices.

“The inauguration of the Tchipa Tchiwa School is a moment of great pride for the Omatapalo Group. This project reflects our commitment to education, reinforcing our mission to make a difference in the lives of Angolan communities. We believe that investing in children's education is investing in Angola's future. This school is not just a physical space, but a symbol of hope and opportunities for families in the municipality of Caála”, highlighted Edmar Manuel, spokesperson for the group.

This project, the result of the operation of the Tchipa Tchiwa Quarry by Omatapalo, located in the same neighborhood, "represents a significant milestone in the group's commitment to the educational and social development of the communities where it operates," says the statement.

In addition to building schools, the group, through the Escola Fazer Sorrir project, contributes annually to the start of the school year for thousands of children, through the donation of desks, chairs and school supplies, ensuring that schools are equipped to receive students.
