According to a brief note from PRORUMUS, to which VerAngola had access, this new training center will have "courses strategically developed to boost employability" in the country, such as Health, Hygiene and Safety at Work, Intensive Private Security, among others.
"The courses are complemented with professional internships in partnership with other organizations, facilitating direct access to the job market", the company also points out.
On the occasion, the Secretary of State said that professional training is a priority on the Executive's agenda, having called on companies, associations and non-governmental organizations to invest in training people.
Pedro Filipe also expressed satisfaction that the company included the Health, Hygiene and Safety at Work course, as the country needs this training.
"Last year we recorded 1800 workplace accidents, 34 of which were fatal. These deaths and accidents were perfectly avoidable and only with the training and involvement of everyone will we be able to ensure that workers can work in a completely safe environment, hygiene and have health in the short, medium and long term", said Pedro Filipe, quoted by Angop.
Bárbara Mateus, director of the center, stated that the entity has the solid objective of preparing people, both individuals and legal entities, who wish to become professionals to respond to market demand.
According to the director, who was speaking to Angop, more than 2000 people have already been trained by PRORUMUS since 2017, and with this new center, intends to continue with the objective of helping those who seek theoretical and practical knowledge to improve the development of their activities.
Manuel Lutango, commander of the Civil Protection and Fire Service (SPCB), also pointed out that this training initiative has a strategic importance in the training of professionals who work in various areas, with an emphasis on courses in Fire Prevention and Extinction, Rescue and Salvage, Pre-Hospital Care, etc.
The executive also reaffirmed SPCB's interest in strengthening strategic collaboration with the company in the professional development of its staff.
PRORUMUS professor Celso Chiangue considered that training is the fundamental basis for the growth of a person, company and society in general, while the student of the Hygiene and Cleaning course, Liriano Lopes, sees theoretical and practical learning as beneficial, expecting good results at the end of the training to face the job market, writes Angop.
