To this end, 'Welcome to Angola' (name of the project) began, this week, collecting information, as well as filming the main tourist attractions in the province.
Filming, according to a statement from the provincial government, to which VerAngola had access, started at the Centro Horto Botânico do Kilombo.
"A group of Angolan companies operating in different lines of business, began this Tuesday, extensive work to collect information and film the main tourist attractions in this province, in order to publicize them throughout the country and the world, through of social networks and communication channels of national and international reference, whose starting point was given with the filming of the Centro Horto Botânico do Kilombo", reads the statement.
The project, whose promoters were at the headquarters of the provincial government to make the initiative known to the governor of Cuanza Norte, João Diogo Gaspar, is part of the social responsibility of the companies Daimic Motors, Edicenter, Jornal Angola e Económico, ENSA, Pumangol and TV Zimbo, adds the note.
On the occasion, the 'Welcome to Angola' project was praised by the governor, who said "it is an opportunity that will promote the dissemination of the great tourist potential of Cuanza Norte", and thus guaranteed "to give all necessary institutional support to the mentors of this initiative, encouraging them to continue, aiming to help boost tourism in this province".
According to the coordinator of the delegation, Cristina Carla, mentioned in the note, the initiative "has already been implemented by the group in the most populous provinces of the country", with "ambassadors some famous figures, including musicians, models, comedians, who help to maximize the its results."
