The announcement was made through a statement, following the Political Bureau (BP) meeting that took place at Futungo II, in Luanda.
BP's secretary for information and propaganda, Rui Falcão, will be replaced by jurist Esteves Hilário, elected deputy in 2022.
Lawyer and deputy Joaquim Carlos dos Reis Júnior will take the place of Virgílio Fontes Pereira, who led the parliamentary group of the Popular Movement for the Liberation of Angola (MPLA).
The MPLA BP also approved changes to the composition of the National Assembly's permanent working committees and a proposal to hold a national seminar on ethics and integrity in public service.
On the other hand, a proposed resolution was also analyzed to regularize the MPLA leadership in the province of Cuanza Norte, where the party's extraordinary provincial conference should also be held.
