The PGR – in statements to the press, in Luena (Moxico), where it is carrying out a working visit – also spoke about the case of Isabel dos Santos. Regarding this matter, Pitta Grós said that the body he directs is waiting for the accusatory letters of request that were sent to the authorities in the United Arab Emirates, the businesswoman's current location, writes Angop.

The prosecutor also mentioned that the PGR proceeded with the accusation and sent a letter of request to Portugal, a country where other people related to the case are involved, adding: "Therefore, we await the formalization of the event, so that after the exact answer can be presented in court in the country".

In addition to these two processes, Hélder Pitta Grós said that the PGR may open an investigation into complaints from the Angolan Football Federation (FAF) regarding the fact that the national football team participated in the African Cup of Nations without financial support from the state.

Quoted by Angop, the prosecutor said that they will wait for an investigation by the Ministry of Youth and Sports to decide the PGR's action.
