According to the Attorney General of the Republic, cited by Angop, a notification has already been sent to lawyers, and they are just waiting for them to react on the accusation before admitting themselves to court.

"For now, everything remains secret in justice", added the person responsible, in statements on the sidelines of the closing of the IV extended meeting of the southern judicial region of the Attorney General's Office (PGR), cited by Angop.

It is recalled that the daughter of former President José Eduardo dos Santos is accused of 12 crimes in the process involving her management at Sonangol, between 2016 and 2017.

The list of those targeted, in addition to Isabel dos Santos, also includes the names of Paula Oliveira, friend and partner, Mário Leite da Silva, former manager and friend, Sarju Raikundalia, former financial administrator at Sonangol, and the consultancy PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).

Pitta Gróz was in the province of Cunene, which hosted the IV extended meeting of the southern judicial region of the PGR. On the occasion, according to a statement from the Government of Cunene, to which VerAngola had access, the Attorney General of the Republic "called for commitment from justice operators and the involvement of all actors in society in the fight against crime".
