In a press conference, after the game, Alexandre Santos said that "it is not a bad result, because the important thing was not to have lost today at home".

On the opposite side, coach Hamedi Miloudi admitted that his team faced a difficult team.

"We were up against a strong opponent, who did everything to win", he said.

Petro de Luanda will play again on the 18th of February, when they face AS Vita, from RD Congo, at the Mártires stadium, in Congolese territory, in a match for the second round.

Petro de Luanda and JS Kabylie, from Algeria, share the leadership of the group with one point each, since AS Vita and the Moroccans of Wydad have not yet played.
