The exchange involving the Angolan basketball player is the result of an agreement between the two clubs. His teammate, German Dennis Schroeder, will also be transferred to Houston, according to the international press.
The Rockets will thus be the Angolan's third team, which is also in its third year playing in the most important professional basketball league in the world, after having played for the Atlanta Hawks and Boston Celtics.
At the age of 23, Bruno Fernandes measures 2.06 cm and weighs 109 kg, having been trained in the schools of 1.º de Agosto. He came to the US to play in the college basketball championship, where he played for the Maryland Terrapins. In the 2019 draft, he was selected to join the NBA by the Philadelphia 76ers, who later ceded him to the Atlanta Hawks.
