A note from the Presidency, made available on its Facebook, states that, until being appointed, António Coelho Ramos da Cruz was director of the Legal Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
At the same ceremony, the note said, the new deputy governor of Cuando Cubango province for Technical Services and Infrastructure, João Bonifácio Cassanga, was also sworn in by the President of the Republic.
On the occasion, João Lourenço wished "much success" to the new rulers.
"In this ceremony I would just like to wish success to those sworn in for the functions in which they were appointed, the Angolan ambassador to the State of Qatar and the deputy governor of Cuando Cubango province, therefore successes", he said, quoted by Angop.
At the end of the act, which took place at the Presidential Palace, António Coelho Ramos da Cruz made it known that one of the objectives of his mission will be to strengthen relations between Angola and Qatar, within the scope of economic diplomacy.
