Regarding the refinery, the company, in a note quoted by Angop, said that it will have a production capacity of 400 tonnes per day of vegetable oil, palm oil and sunflower oil.
However, with the start-up of a second production line – in which production tests are expected to start in May – it will be possible to double production capacity (to 800 tonnes).
According to the note, this unit will employ 70 national and expatriate workers.
Regarding the animal feed factory, the group said that it will be dedicated to the processing and packaging of granulated and crumbled flour in 30-kilogram bags, 100-kilogram 'big bags' or in bulk.
The statement, quoted by Angop, states that the factory will have 250 employees who will be divided into three shifts, allowing the factory to operate 24 hours a day.
It should be remembered that the Carrinho Industrial Complex, located in Benguela, is made up of 17 manufacturing units dedicated to the milling of wheat, cornmeal, husked rice, among others.
