The partnership established between Pumangol and United Investimentos covers the periodic restructuring of the 79 stores at Pumangol gas stations, which are spread across the country.
At the opening of the first Spar Express convenience store – a Dutch multinational franchise – in the country, representatives of Spar Express as well as members of the Board of Directors of Pumangol were present, highlighting the CEO, Ivanilson Machado, writes Platinaline.
Ivanilson Machado explained that Spar Express will replace the Super7 stores that are attached to Pumangol's gas stations.
"Although our core business is focused on the sale of fuels, lubricants and the opening of gas stations, the satisfaction of our customers, in terms of the services provided, is an objective that will never pass us by. And it was when we realized that our supply capacity did not follow market expectations, which we decided to change. With this we identified a valued partner, highly recognized and respected with regard to the supply operation and management of convenience stores", he explained, quoted by Platinaline.
"As a start, we will open five stores in Luanda and, after expanding the network in the country's capital, we will move on to other provinces," he said.
Spar Express is one of the best known supermarket chains in the world, with more than 12,400 stores, spread over 44 countries.
