PR confers ownership on newly appointed and asks for dedication and commitment in positions

The first extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the Republic of Angola to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Frederico Cardoso, took office this Wednesday, after being appointed on the 18th of this month by the President of the Republic.

The Angolan representative in that country sees the mission as an opportunity to explore various areas that benefit the economies of the two countries, such as infrastructure, agriculture, agro-industry, exploration and transformation of ornamental stones, tourism and others, says a Government statement to which VerAngola had access.

President João Lourenço also took over from the Secretary of State for Finance and Treasury, Ottoniel Lobo de Carvalho dos Santos, and from Public Administration, Vânio António Gaspar Americano, to Benguela's vice governors for Technical Services and Infrastructure and the Huambo for the Political, Social and Economic Sector, Adilson Dellany Martins Gonçalves and Francisco Jamba Kata respectively.

At the same ceremony, the new members of the Board of Directors of Sonangol were installed, namely Olga Lukocheka da Silva Sabalo Miranda, executive director; Kátia Mariana Siliveli Epalanga Lutucuta, executive director; Osvaldo Inácio, executive director and Bernarda Gonçalves Martins, non-executive director.

To all inductees, the President of the Republic wished successes in the performance of his duties, commitment and dedication to work.

In turn, the newly appointed pledged to fight corruption and nepotism, to be faithful to the motherland, to cooperate in the realization of the superior assets of the State, defending the fundamental principles of the order established in the Constitution, to respect and enforce the laws, and zeal and dedication to the functions for which they were appointed.
