The information was transmitted to Lusa by the spokesman of the Provincial Union of Cabin Crew (Sinpropnc), Délio Albano, referring that, following the strike call, the company "met emergency" with the employees in search of consensus.

The strike, with total stoppage, was initially scheduled for the 5th, 6th and 7th of February.

The updating of the values of flight hours indexed to the dollar, the maintenance of the availability regime, translation of manuals and "humanization" of work schedules, better working conditions and social benefits are included in the demands.

According to the union leader, the TAAG management decided to respond affirmatively to the claims, and a six-month deadline for resolving the claims was defined, especially the update of flight hours indexed to the dollar.

"In this chapter, about indexing, there was no understanding, but in the end it was accepted. First the flight hours will be indexed in dollars and then updated in kwanzas", he said.

Regarding the cabin manuals, written in a foreign language, Délio Albano said that the employer guaranteed to hire a company to translate them into Portuguese.

In the field of humanization of work schedules, the Sinpropnc spokesman said that they should be readjusted in the light of the agreements with the direction of the air carrier.
