João Macedo, the company's administrator, revealed this Wednesday that the plant will be built in Quibala, and expects it to start operating in September.
The director, who was speaking on the sidelines of the seminar on "Procedures for exporting fruit and coffee to the Swedish and European Union markets", considered that this new investment will increase the number of jobs available in the country, writes Angop.
Estimating that the new factory will produce around 10 tons of coffee every hour, João Macedo also said that the country's market could be strengthened.
Novagrolider currently has around four thousand workers and is responsible for the export of several products, such as fruit. It also exports around 300 tons of products per week to South Africa, Portugal and Spain.
