Sales of goods and services from Portugal to Angola fell 18.1 percent last year to 1.2 billion euros. Portugal's purchases from Angola increased 15.8 percent, exceeding one billion euros, according to data from the Portuguese National Statistics Institute (INE).
According to INE data, Angola imported fewer goods from Portugal. The figures show that imports from Angola to Portugal fell from 1.5 billion euros in 2018 to 1.2 billion euros last year.
Angola, as usual, is the Portuguese-speaking African country that has a more solid commercial relationship with Portugal, as the second largest destination for Portuguese exports, Cape Verde, represented sales of only 284 million euros last year.
