The formation is being given in Dibala, Namibe, reveals the ministry, in a statement sent to VerAngola. This locality was chosen, "because it is a tourist spot, not only for bird watching, but also for the majestic landscape that attracts and involves visitors in its strong exuberance," explained the ministry.
In the document, MINTUR says its expectation is that at the end of this action the trainees will have "technical skills in hospitality, reception, interaction and guidance of tourists, as well as addressing ecological and ecosystem conservation issues".
The project "Betting on Aviturism" is divided into several phases, with the training of local guides being one of the crucial stages for the project to be successful.
So far, 28 young people have already received training: "The first training action has resulted in 6 guides in the province of Malanje - Locality of Kinjila, 9 guides in the province of Bengo - Locality of Santa Ambuleia, and 13 in the province of Huila - Locality of Tundavala", said the ministry.
