The agreement was signed by the General Director of the company Cartão Jovem, Raul Alexandre, and the Permanent Secretary of the National Commission for UNESCO, Alexandre Sousa Costa.
In a statement sent to VerAngola, the company states that this "partnership is very advantageous for the country, because UNESCO has socially believed in the youth card" that "will help young people throughout the country". This recognition will "massify the product and give it credibility", the document adds.
For the Permanent Secretary of the National Commission for UNESCO, Alexandre Sousa Costa, "young people will have several benefits by joining this project".
The Youth Card Angola "is a national youth initiative that allows young people from 15 to 35 years of age to benefit from discounts on various social services, including health, food, transport and education," the company said in a statement.
It also allows its partners - public institutions, associations, private companies and social support bodies - to "have access to a fast and effective marketing tool, with guaranteed returns".
With a duration of one year, the card can be requested online or at any of the membership points.
