In a statement to which VerAngola had access, Sonangol states that "there is no ongoing mass staff recruitment process, contrary to what has been circulating on some social networks".
The oil company also adds that "this information aims to alert citizens, as the so-called recruitments for Sonangol, published on social media, are just tricks by individuals in bad faith, known as fraudsters, who seek to deceive some citizens and, in some cases, take away immediate financial benefit from the situation, and in others, collecting personal information later used for illicit practices".
The national oil company also adds that staff are not recruited via social media.
