Centrooptico invests 300 million in new store in Camama

Centrooptico started 2023 with an investment of around 300 million kwanzas for the opening of its 24th store. Located at Deskontão do Camama, the store was inaugurated this Thursday, thus bringing visual and hearing health services to yet another district in the municipality of Talatona.

The Secretary of State for Commerce, Amadeu Leitão Nunes, accompanied by members of his team, performed the traditional ribbon cutting at a ceremony that was attended by one of the Centrooptico ambassadors, Sérgio Rodrigues, and friends of the brand. After the ribbon cutting, a guided tour was given, giving guests the opportunity to get to know the space and its technical features.

The 135 square meter store has an area for displaying frames, diagnostic tests, and two clinical offices. Camama residents who visit the store will be able to benefit from optometry, contactology, ophthalmology and diagnostic exams.

"This store is the first of many that will be opened throughout 2023. We want to be ever closer to the communities, providing them with excellent services, ensured by highly qualified multidisciplinary teams, and at competitive prices. This is a permanent commitment of the Centrooptico, which believes it is possible to democratize access to visual and hearing health care", said Arlete Clemente, director of Human Resources at Centrooptico, in a statement sent to VerAngola.

The Centrooptico do Camama team comprises 16 professionals, including new and relocated employees, for reasons of proximity to residence, trained by the Centrooptico Academy, subsequently having practical training in the brand's stores.

"Our objective is to continue to expand the brand, offering our products and services based on the highest technology and innovation, throughout the country, betting on the workforce of Angolans, because we believe they are talented, thus allowing, Angola's economic, technical and human growth", said the general manager of Centrooptico, Amyn Habib.

More than 600 references of different frames are available for sale, including exclusive brands in the Angolan market such as Rosso, Silhouette, Zeiss and Vaiolens, and another 50 international brands, including Boss Orange, Furla, Carolina Herrera, Lanidor, Hickman, Quebramar, Lacoste, Chopard, Balmain, Tom Ford and Alexander McQueen.

The new Centrooptico store, located in Deskontão Camama (Bairro Nzinga Mbandi, main road in Camama), in Luanda, is open from Monday to Sunday, from 8 am to 6 pm.
