OGE 2023 goes to the final global vote on February 13

The final global vote on the proposal for the General State Budget (OGE) for 2023 is scheduled for February 13th.

"On the 13th of February, the Plenary of the National Assembly will proceed to the final global vote on the Bill approving the General State Budget for the financial year 2023, by resolution of the Conference of Presidents of Parliamentary Groups, which gathered this Tuesday, 31, to prepare what will be the IV Extraordinary Plenary Meeting of the Parliament", reads a communiqué from the parliament, which VerAngola had access to.

According to the first secretary of the National Assembly, Manuel Dembo, the agenda will have as a single point the final global vote on the proposal.

"The agenda will have as a single point the Final Global Vote on the Bill that approves the General State Budget for the financial year of 2023", said the official, quoted in the note.

After the approval of the diploma, in general, the specialized work commissions "meet with the social partners and members of the Executive to make the necessary changes to the legal instrument", adds the note.

At this stage, the statement said, "the joint opinion reports are being prepared, which will be submitted for consideration by the plenary".

"The proposal for the 2023 General State Budget is estimated at 20,104.2 billion kwanzas, representing an increase of 7.2 percent compared to the 2022 State Budget, of which around 12,902.2 kwanzas correspond to expenditure taxation", completes the statement.
