"When we say that the General State Budget is the country's main financial management instrument, it has very large implications because it touches everyone's life, the whole of society, both the lives of families and companies, so that the document that will come out of these debates is a document that serves the interests of the Angolan people," he said, quoted by Rádio Nacional de Angola (RNA).

The official added that the "result of this work is a work that reflects everything" that needs to be done for the good of the people: "So that the result of this work is a work that reflects everything that we need to do for the good of the our people".

"To express our serious commitment to continue debating the General State Budget in a genuine, serious and rigorous manner, and to have the best document that can serve the interests of Angolans", he added, quoted by RNA.
