A total of 77 infrastructures are being built, including buildings for municipal assemblies as well as municipal housing complexes, according to the minister, quoted by Angop.
More than half (80 percent) of the works for the referred infrastructures have already been assigned, being in the execution stage with satisfactory degrees, of which 60 percent will be inaugurated during the first six months of this year, indicated the holder of the Administration portfolio of the Territory, quoted by Angop.
Dionísio Manuel da Fonseca also took the opportunity to indicate the implementation of the autarchies as a national promise as well as a challenge for the governance of the State, adding that the ministry will do its best so that the autarchies are implemented within the dates that are established, writes the Angop.
Government gives priority to completing works stopped since 2013
The minister also made it known that the Government will give priority, this year, to the completion of works stopped due to financial reasons, having clarified that said completion is mentioned in the General State Budget (OGE) for 2023, whose proposal registers the projects to be carried out by province in this financial year, highlighting the works stopped since 2013.
Cited by Angop, the holder of the Territory Administration portfolio also clarified that the initiatives will be carried out with ordinary Treasury resources, depending on the scenario of each province.
In addition, the minister, quoted by Angop, admitted that there are still many obstacles with regard to public functionality, due to the lack of schools, health centers, among others, influencing the progress of communities. However, he added that the Government is committed to reversing this scenario over the next five years, through the implementation of more than 14,000 projects in various fields.
He also stressed that these acts will absorb high amounts, not being able to carry out their mobilization only at once, writes Angop.
Although there are impediments, he admitted that administrators and administrative staff are also dedicated to implementing strategies aimed at meeting the needs of the population.
The minister was speaking this Thursday, at the end of a two-day visit to Cuanza Norte, where he checked the pace of various activities taking place in that province, within the scope of the Integrated Plan for Intervention in Municipalities (PIIM), in the municipalities of Samba Cajú , Cambambe, Banga, Lucala, Bolongongo, Quiculungo and Cazengo.
