The bodies of two of the six weighers who were missing following a shipwreck that took place a week ago in the municipality of Soyo, province of Zaire, were rescued, the Civil Protection and Fire Service announced this Thursday.

The information provided by the second municipal commander of the Civil Protection and Fire Service of Soyo, Manuel Cassua, reports that search operations are continuing to rescue four other fishermen who are still missing in the seas in the area.

Manuel Cassua, quoted by the Angop news agency, stressed that the search and rescue operations were reinforced by a team from the captaincy of the port of Soyo and other bodies of the Ministry of Interior of the region.
