The transfer process took place between Monday and Wednesday, with T2 typology housing being handed over to the families, built between the Sequele Centrality and the Mayé Mayé Housing Project, writes Jornal de Angola.
From a total of 803 families residing in plate houses in the 'Tendas da Ilha do Zango 1' neighborhood, also known as 'Condomínio de Prata', 230 families have been transferred so far.
However, a source linked to the transfer of residents, in statements to Jornal de Angola, assured that the process will continue, appealing to the families who remain in the 'Condomínio de Prata' to remain calm.
Without advancing a specific deadline for the transfer of the remaining 573 families, the same source explained that the names of the heads of the respective families are in "duly catalogued" lists.
