In a statement made available on its Facebook page, the Government clarifies that the two hundred houses will be of the evolutionary T2 type, adding that the expenditure for the construction of social houses was authorized by the President of the Republic.
"The construction of these social housing was authorized by the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, through Order no. of emergency contracting for the award of the public works contract with the company Reviscor", can be read in the note.
In the order, the Head of State also authorizes the contract for the provision of services for the supervision of the work with the company Atelier Topo, in the amount of 87,500,000.00 kwanzas, as well as the contract for the provision of services with the company Reppe, for the composition of studies and projects for the work in the amount of 105,000,000.00 kwanzas.
According to the statement, the governor of Luanda was delegated the competence, with the power to sub-delegate, "to carry out all decision-making acts, including the preparation of procedural documents, negotiation and conclusion of contracts".
The Ministry of Finance will be responsible for registering the project in the Public Investment Program and also ensuring the availability of financial resources for its implementation.
