Party activists and sympathizers, traditional and ecclesiastical authorities, youth organizations, members of civil society, among others, traveled to Comandante Kwenha airport to welcome the President.
After getting off the plane, the MPLA president also greeted the party's secretary general, Paulo Pombolo, the first provincial secretary of the MPLA from Cuando Cubango, José Martins, among others.
According to the Public Television of Angola (TPA), the President then addressed the population who went to the airport to receive him.
During his visit to Menongue, João Lourenço - along with the launch of the party's political agenda - also has scheduled meetings with the MPLA leadership in that province and with the party's first secretaries, writes Angop.
The event aims to make known what are the main actions of the MPLA for the current year.
