Covid-19: country with 301 new cases and four deaths in the last 24 hours

Angola registered 301 new cases, four deaths and 285 recoveries, in the last 24 hours, according to the epidemiological bulletin of the National Directorate of Public Health, released this Tuesday.

The new cases were registered in the provinces of Luanda (202), Huambo (37), Zaire (29), Benguela (11), Moxico (7), Huíla (6), Bié (5), Lunda Sul (3) and Lunda Norte (1).

The new infections occurred in patients aged between six months and 88 years, 186 males and 115 females.

The bulletin also reports that, in the same period, four deaths were also recorded, of which three men and one woman, in the provinces of Luanda (3) and Benguela (1).

There were also 285 recoveries, of which 126 in Huambo, 57 in Benguela, 48 in Moxico, 14 in Lunda Norte, 13 in Bié, 13 in Lunda Sul, six in Huíla, five in Luanda and three in Uíge.

During the same period, the laboratories processed 2488 samples by RT-PCR with a daily positivity rate of 12.1 percent.

With the latest data, the country has a total of 94,275 cases, of which 7478 are active, 1870 have died and 84,927 have recovered.
