According to data provided by Franco Mufinda, Secretary of State for Public Health, the greatest number of cases was found in the province of Luanda (341), followed by Cabinda (185), Moxico (61), Huambo (46), Cuando Cubango (43), Bié (41), Huíla (34), Lunda Norte (31), Namibe (17), Uíge (15), Malanje (12), Lunda Sul (12) and Benguela (6).
Cited by Angop, the official indicated that the new cases were registered in patients aged between two months and 91 years, with 476 males and 368 females.
In the last 24 hours, three deaths were reported, two in Luanda and one in Malanje.
There were also 325 recoveries registered: 301 in Luanda, 18 in Bié and six in Lunda Sul.
The laboratories processed, in the same period, 2565 samples with a daily positivity rate of 32.9 percent.
With the most recent data, the country has a total of 83,764 cases, of which 16,955 are active, 1775 deaths and 65,034 recovered.
