Prova D’Arte: the new space for culture lovers that promises to value the national

It’s called Prova’DArte and promises to be the place to be if you love culture and the arts. The opening – which already includes a photographic exhibition and an arts fair – is scheduled for Saturday, within the framework of the celebrations of the 446th anniversary of the Kianda City Festivities.


Located in Miramar, the space opens at 11:00 am, with the presence of representatives of the Provincial Government of Luanda, the city's Administrative Commission and some guests.

To the sound of the Angolan music woman and accompanied by videos about the capital, the first day of activities – which will last until Tuesday – will also feature the launch of the "Sentada Luandense" project. According to Jornal de Angola, this will be based on a conversation with the elders about stories and stories from Luanda.

On Sunday the space will be open to the public, from 07:00. In addition to a live radio program, the first edition of "Kambas e Ketas no Kintal" will also be launched, with the presence of Calabeto, Santocas, Legalize and Voto Gonçalves.

In the afternoon, it will be possible to visit a gastronomy fair, participate in an arts workshop with the musician and cultural researcher Jorge Mulumba and visit a book and record fair.
This odyssey through the arts continues on Monday with the screening of a film about Luanda and the holding of the concert "Serenata a Lu-anda", a recitation of trova and poetry by the Lev'Arte Movement.

On Tuesday, a day dedicated to Luanda, a new edition of "Sentada Luandense" is scheduled with the presence of Carlos Lamartine, Roldão Ferreira and Cirineu Bastos. The premiere of Prova D'Arte ends with the concert "Canções de Luanda".

Prova D'Arte is a collective composed of lovers and promoters of national culture, whose objective is to promote various aspects of Angolan art. After the inaugural day, the space's programming will be varied, with a focus on valuing national talent.
