The holder of the Youth and Sports portfolio, who was speaking this Wednesday in Malanje at a meeting with social activists, representatives of sports associations and clubs, and youth leaders, explained that this type of investment will make it possible to massify various sports and reduce the costs of the Government, which usually focuses more on national teams.
Cited by Angop, the minister explained that the need to invest in this area could be thought through negotiation between national entrepreneurs and international brands.
She also took the opportunity to show her concern about the difference between the percentage of the number of people practicing sports and the population density and stressed that it is necessary to gather efforts to stimulate the practice of sport.
The sports agents need to "think global and act local", she added.
In his speech, he also took the opportunity to stress that the tutelage will continue to invest in the training of young entrepreneurs. A work that will continue to be developed together with the National Youth Institute and the National Institute of Support to Small and Medium Enterprises, he indicated.
He also talked about unemployment, leaving an advice to the youth: to enter the agricultural sector and invest in training.
In turn, the youth and sports leaders took the opportunity to express their concern about the lack of materials and sports spaces, lack of funds to advance with programs and training, among others.
On Wednesday, the minister began a three-day visit to the province of Malanje. This Thursday, among other activities, should be present at the inter-generational meeting. On the last day of the visit, Friday, the minister will visit the Palanca Negra Arena Pavilion, the works of the Youth House, among other projects.
