“Ao Vivo” passes the micro to ‘kotas’ and pays homage to the generation of glory of Angolan music

A show with the performance of eight renowned Angolan artists will mark the premiere, on the 8th of January, of the program Ao Vivo - Homenagem à Música, to be broadcast on ZAP Viva.

:

From that day on, it will be like this every Friday night: the good music of the past is remembered with the performance of big names in Angolan music, according to a statement sent to VerAngola.

They lend their voices to the first program Elias Dia Kimuezo, Carlos Lamartine, Dina Santos, Prado Paim, Voto Gonçalves, Lulas da Paixão, Clara Monteiro and Calabeto, compelling artists on the national music scene. So compelling that its legacy continues to be followed by the younger generations.

During an hour and a half of show, these legends of the Angolan songbook want to provide a trip to their repertoire, with songs that marked decades.

Thus, and this Friday starting at 22:00, ZAP Viva will have as protagonists the 'kotas' of national music. With a nostalgic flavor, the performances promise to be both nostalgic and spectacular from the television point of view, the statement adds.

This will be the first of several "Ao Vivo" broadcasts, which aims to be, weekly, the meeting point for music lovers who have marked a generation.

Other legends are part of the alignment of the next episodes that, through music, transport to the great successes of the past.
