According to a statement from CIPRA, to which VerAngola had access, the head of state, who is carrying out this visit at the invitation of the Sultan of Oman, Haitham Bin Tarik Al Said, is accompanied by the First Lady of the Republic, Ana Dias Lourenço.
This Thursday's day will be the most "dense" on the agenda, with talks reserved to strengthen relations.
"The first day, the busiest of the program, will be filled with talks to strengthen bilateral relations, in a one-on-one format between the Heads of State and ministerial dialogue, which will result in understandings translated into agreements", points out the statement.
For Friday, João Lourenço's agenda will take on a more cultural component. "The following day, Friday, the journey will have an essentially cultural character, with a visit to the National Museum of Oman scheduled", says the note.
In addition to the presidential couple, the delegation is also made up of ministers.
According to Angop, João Lourenço's working day in that country begins with the official reception at the Royal Palace, in which the anthems of both countries will be played, continuing with 21 cannon salutes and the presentation of the delegations.
