According to a statement from the Provincial Government of Luanda, time tolerance will be observed at provincial level this Tuesday and Wednesday, at the level of the public sector and the private sector, except for "work activity provided on a shift basis", whose services will maintain normal operation.

The measure is due to the "importance of the arrival of several entities of the highest political and economic relevance in the world", which "will carry out an intense working day in different parts of the city of Luanda", can be read in the GLP document.

Point tolerance was also announced for Benguela, this Wednesday, during a meeting between authorities and journalists, although the Provincial Government of Benguela has not yet officially communicated the decision.

Joe Biden is expected to land this Monday in Luanda at 5pm, after a stop in Cape Verde, and will meet the President, João Lourenço, on Tuesday, traveling in the afternoon to the Slavery Museum.

On Wednesday, the North American head of state leaves for Lobito for a summit with African leaders, returning shortly afterwards to the USA.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António and Ambassador Mary Catherine Molly Phee, North American Undersecretary of State for African Affairs, met this Monday morning at the headquarters building of Angolan diplomacy, in Luanda, to analyze the deepening of political-diplomatic relations between the two countries and the increase in North American investments in Angola.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that "regional and global issues with a focus on the peaceful resolution of conflicts and the latest developments on permanent dialogue in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo" were also discussed at the meeting.
