In a statement, TAAG stated that with this update passengers will be able to purchase/pay for extra baggage, without limiting the number of items, including benefiting from lower fares if they purchase extra baggage in advance, that is, before the travel date.
As part of the update, the document highlights, the authorized formats/dimensions of personal items, hand luggage and checked luggage were also revised to provide more flexibility and options for travelers.
According to TAAG, at the same time, more items are now allowed as baggage, namely musical instruments, sporting equipment, pets or perishable goods, as long as they respect the terms and conditions of the baggage policy, namely restrictions on format, weight, packaging as well as the applicable legislation of the country of destination.
“With this initiative, TAAG reinforces its commitment to providing a better travel experience for its passengers, making its services more agile and flexible”, highlights the note from Angolan airlines.
