On the 11th and 12th of December, the Ministry of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas will hold a workshop on investment in the mineral resources, oil and gas sector in the province of Namibe.
Under the theme "Sustainable Exploration of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas", the workshop will take place at the University of Namibe.
Among the objectives of the event is the presentation of Namibe's potential, the exhibition of equipment to prevent and combat oil spills at sea during the exploration phase, as well as clarifications on the cohabitation of the activity with fishing.
The workshop will welcome companies and entities linked to the sector, as well as representatives from the Ministries of Environment, Finance, local government and academics.
