Expo Feito em Angola annually

Speaking at the end of the event, the Secretary of State for Planning, Milton Reis, informed that the fair will take place annually, with the aim of assuming a specialized business area to stimulate national production and, consequently, reduce of the unemployment rate in the country.

Also cited by Angop, Milton Reis classified the event as innovative, as it enabled commercial exchange and the dissemination of goods and services by micro, small and medium-sized companies in the country.

He also added that it is a "risky and necessary initiative for business in the country".

"It is a risky and necessary initiative for business in the country, as the time has come for national production to assume its role in the growth of the national economy", he said, quoted by Angop.

Although Angola still needs imports for national consumption, according to the secretary, with the fair it was possible to see that in a short time the panorama will change with the increase in local production.

Cited by Angop, he also referred that at the event several exhibitors from the country showed services and goods 'made in Angola', in sectors such as health, banking, commerce, food, among others, consisting of an evident sign of the progress and development of the country's production.

In turn, Ivan dos Santos, Secretary of State for the Economy, admitted that the increase in products manufactured in the country will give another dynamic to the national economy.

Also cited by Angop, he indicated that the event helped to show that Angola is producing internally as well as making it possible to close deals and share experiences between producers, "which is an added value for the growth of the productive sector and trade".

The businessmen, on the other hand, made a positive assessment of the event, having been satisfied with the results of the fair.

Remember that this first edition of the fair took place between the 7th and 11th of December at the ZEE, with more than 150 exhibitors.
