The rehabilitation of housing for the CNJ was financed by the Housing Development Fund, after several episodes of vandalism. It should be remembered that these properties were recovered for the State by the National Asset Recovery Service of the Attorney General's Office (PGR).
The ministry refers, in a note to which VerAngola had access, that this step is the fulfillment of a promise by the President of the Republic, "for his unquestionable connection to youth issues".
He adds that artists, politicians, activists, musicians, sportsmen, writers and other figures of youth associations and their respective households with decent housing, built with public funds, were awarded spaces "without any discrimination".
The Vida Pacífica urbanization is located in the urban district of Zango, municipality of Viana, Luanda. It is one of the housing complexes that, in 2020, went through the foreclosure process, conducted by the PGR, because it was built with public funds. It is now under state control.
