According to a monthly report by PetroAngola and cited by Angop, in the period in question, the average production per day was 1124 million barrels.

With regard to oil blocks, Block 17 (operated by TotalEnergies) holds the title of largest producer, presenting, in the period in question, an average of 373,237 thousand barrels per day (KBPD), thus maintaining its "good performance".

Also on the podium are Block 0 (average production of 153,247 KBPD) and Block 32 (production of 143,637 KBPD).

The report also mentions that domestic grades were sold at a discount to Brent. Cited by Angop, the document clarifies that this was due to the combination of prices of the most valued raw materials in international markets, which reached an average value of 90.56 dollars per barrel of oil (BBL), around 0.46 dollars per barrel of oil below Brent.

Among the most valued national grades is Cabinda (highest price of 99.62 dollars per barrel of oil with a monthly average of 92.31 dollars per barrel of oil). This is followed by the Girassol branch (monthly average of 91.12  dollars per BBL and highest price of 100.64 dollars per BBL) and the Dália branch (monthly average of 89.60 dollars per BBL and highest price of 96.22 dollars per BBL).

Oil reference prices, advances the document cited by Angop, decreased profits as cases of covid-19 in China grew to close to their highest level of the pandemic. In international markets, barrel values suffered a slight decrease in the period under review, with Brent being sold at an average of 91.03 dollars per barrel of oil, reflecting a decrease of 1.94 dollars per barrel compared to the monthly average in October (average monthly price of 92.96 dollars per BBL).

It should be noted that gas production also registered an increase: production in November was 80.671 million standard cubic feet (MMSCF), totaling an average of 2689 MMSCF per day, thus verifying a growth of 17 percent compared to October (Production of 69.140 million standard cubic feet).

Of the total gas production, adds the document cited by Angop, 44 percent was injected, 30 percent used in gas lift (GL) operations, 16 percent exported to Angola LNG, seven percent provided for energy production in oil installations and three percent used for burning.
