"We consider ourselves in the first physical store of second-hand goods, because there are some, but it is not clear whether they sell second-hand products or not," explains the brand, in a statement sent to VerAngola.
In a first phase, the store "intends to sell products previously tested and with seal of guarantee and quality". The products will be acquired from individuals and companies.
The brand also intends to repair and recondition the products that "are damaged during the transport to the stores".
According to the note, Lafitte is an Angolan store, created by three young entrepreneurs with "passion on renewing and recycling products".
With the motto "Where the used is made new," Lafitte, which provides six direct jobs, is based on the circular economy, which advocates extending the lifespan of goods, reducing discarded waste and encouraging sustainable consumption.
