The 8th edition of the initiative took place at the Epic Sana Luanda hotel and was marked by the launch of "Superbrands Solidária", a project by Superbrands Angola which aims to contribute to support social projects with an impact on the community. The purpose of the initiative is to involve brands of excellence in supporting projects with social impact, either through their contributions, their resources, or through initiatives with their teams.
This year, "Superbrands Solidária" has the support of artist Guilherme Mampuya, creator of the painting "Superbrands 2020" (acrylic on canvas, 100 x 120), which will be raffled among donors of values above 200 thousand kwanzas, in a draw to run until 31 December to support the institution chosen in 2020, the Ana Carolina Foundation.
In the usual award, consumers distinguished ZAP, Valinho, Unitel, TPA, Super Cookies, Special, Sistec, Pumangol, Água Perla, Novo Jornal, Momo Angola, Luandina, Luanda Medical Center, Kibabo, Ginga Café as brands of excellence. Expansão, Delta Q, Cavalo Branco, AngoMart and Aliança Seguros.
The prize for the best cover of the book Superbrands 2020 was given to Ginga Café. "It is with great joy that we are here, for the 7th consecutive year, with the main brands in Angola, and that we take home three prizes that make us proud. This is an election that reflects the choice of our consumers and, at the end of the day, nothing makes us happier than knowing that Angolans reward us for the quality of our coffee and the dedication with which we work daily, with the aim to provide Angolan families with the best coffees in the world, "said Miguel Carvalho, Angonabeiro's general director, in a statement sent to VerAngola.
The Brands of Excellence in Angola were recognized for their effort and persistence, says the organization. This year's edition featured five new brands and three brands present in all editions, for a total of 20 brands distinguished by the market.
