Nina Maria Fite, US Ambassador to Angola, indicated that the conference will take place in videoconference format. The main objective of the meeting is to help American entrepreneurs to develop business opportunities in Africa, especially in Angola.
The ambassador, who was speaking to the press at the end of a meeting with João Lourenço, who among other issues served to talk about the details of next week's conference, stressed that this will be an opportunity for the head of state to highlight the advances and reforms that the country has been making.
"We are looking forward to this conference because it will be a way for President João Lourenço to speak about the reform process in progress, carried out by the Angolan Government," he said, quoted by Angop.
