The vehicles, delivered by Ricardo D'Abreu, Minister of Transport, to Silvia Lutucuta, Minister of Health, will make life easier for patients who had to travel to the cab center.
With these new means, patients will be able to save more than 1000 kwanzas in travel (amount spent on cab trips).
Cited by Angop, Silvia Lutucuta admitted that the buses will cause the rate of abandonment of treatment to decrease, since most of the withdrawals were due to lack of financial means to travel to the treatment centers.
Ricardo D'Abreu, for his part, made it known that the maintenance of the buses is already guaranteed and considered them to be an added value for the center's patients.
It is worth remembering that the Sol Hemodialysis Center, located in Benfica, Luanda, was inaugurated last December 14 by the President, João Lourenço.
