The work, budgeted at 380 million kwanzas, will last one year and will be the responsibility of Ascon construction company.
Bruno Valente, Ascon's representative and responsible for the work, who was speaking on the sidelines of the signing of the consignment of the work and the laying of the first stone, made it known that the new hospital will be composed of an emergency bank, an inpatient room, maternity ward, pediatrics, cafeteria and a morgue.
The administrator, Fernando Manuel, quoted by Angop, revealed that the work is part of the projects linked to the Integrated Plan of Intervention in Municipalities (PIIM).
The residents of that area were happy with the decision, considering that the hospital will be advantageous for the families of the Pantanal neighborhood, who currently have to travel several kilometers to receive medical assistance.
