Young entrepreneurs complain about “excessive bureaucracy” for financing

Young entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs this Wednesday complained of "excessive bureaucracy" in public institutions for the promotion, financing and expansion of their business, and of "lack of clarity in public tenders" for the provision of services.

:

The "excessive bureaucracy" that is said to "aggravate" the daily difficulties they face to keep the business functional.

According to the entrepreneur of the technological sector Carlos Caetano, excessive bureaucracy, especially in the area of credit promotion for micro and small companies is not encouraging for private initiatives.

"The entrepreneur finds himself with many difficulties to be able to get or be granted the credit, the interest rates are quite exorbitant, makes the entrepreneur pay the interest and is still in doubt of having to work for himself or even for the others ", lamented Carlos Caetano in declarations to Lusa.

On the sidelines of the "Meeting with Young Entrepreneurs and Entrepreneurs", which addressed sectoral initiatives to support entrepreneurship and youth entrepreneurship, Carlos Caetano also pointed out "lack of clarity" in public tenders.

For the entrepreneur, the problem of lack of clarity in public tenders stems from the existence of what he considers as "lobbies" of the big companies that compete and overshadow small initiatives.

"Because we do not realize that with the provision of service and labor equal to any other large company, we bring together up to three working groups, we are left with a lower labor value, but when we see in the end of everything you earn is a great company and with exorbitant value ", he noted.

In turn, Wankana de Oliveira, a fast-food entrepreneur, also pointed out the existence of a lot of bureaucracy, referring that the country and the authorities "should stop stale numbers and create a wonderland".

"Bureaucracy is still a lot, it is a pity that in fact when they are the speakers of public institutions they want to give us examples, but in practice when we go to institutions, the excess of bureaucracy is the darkness", he stressed.

"All meetings with a view to dialogue are opportune, it is inappropriate to make us believe that things are really changing", he stressed.

Wankana recalled that, in 2013, he drew up an expansion plan for his company and submitted it to the National Institute of Support for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (Inapem), but after seven years he did not receive any response.

"At the time I spent 6,000 dollars, for hiring a consultant who made a plan about the 'fast-food' industry in Angola, and when I delivered it to Inapem until today, I was never found or found, which is just sad," he shot.

The "Meeting with Young Entrepreneurs and Entrepreneurs", which addressed sectoral initiatives to support entrepreneurship and youth entrepreneurship, was promoted, in Luanda, by the Angolan Ministry of Youth and Sports.
