The companies were trained, free of charge, through training with specialized mentors and technical support, in order to foster financial and social inclusion, says a statement made available by the BNA.
This, which was the first Fintech Incubator in the country, was held within the scope of the Innovation Laboratory of the Payment System of Angola (LISPA), with the support of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (MESCTI). The initiative started in December, 2019, having been selected 10 startups that constituted the first group of the program.
Now, and after the different phases of the program have been completed, it is time for the 'Demo Day', a celebration event in which the history of the program is shown, the evolution of each of the startups, the results, as well as their respective plans for the future.
In this sense, startups will make a presentation (pitch) of their businesses, lasting three minutes, to potential investors and business partners.
Meet the startups that participated in the program:
• Usekamba - Payment platform integrated with a financial and digital services hub;
• Arotec - debit or credit card reader (multi-box) for small businesses in the informal market;
• YouBank - Digital platform that allows you to make payments and transfers instantly from your mobile phone, without having to have a bank account;
• Kubinga Pay - Solution to transform the service payment ecosystem into cashless;
• Digipay - Collection management platform that integrates companies that provide recurring services to the Angola Direct Debit System (SDD);
• Team AKI - Pay easily, simply and securely, all via a mobile phone;
• PAGA3 - Payment platform for goods and services in installments;
• Nojoje - Having or needing used academic books and different content, E-Kuta is the place where you can sell, buy or rent books;
• Credit Score - Answers questions to assist in credit decision making.
